Psi - Ohio State University

It has been an exciting year for Psi Omega Psi chapter. We have been busy welcoming a wonderful group of new members as well as having some recent events that have been a resounding success.

We have recently hosted numerous exciting and successful events. Our initiation ceremony in February was concluded with our annual Chinese buffet dinner outing. We had the chance to work with the D1’s and helping them with tooth anatomy, crown preps, gold crown casting and more. Spring quarter saw our Cinco de Mayo party, which despite a rainy afternoon, was a blast with drinks and food galore. For those alumni who missed that event, you better mark your calendars for next year! Our annual formal/ senior send-off this year was held at Buca de Beppo and was a classy goodbye for the seniors.

We are pleased to announce that, once again, the house will have full occupancy for the 2007- 2008 school year. In addition, the house has been undergoing some major maintenance, including a new roof and replacing the front steps. We encourage all alumni, especially those who once lived in our house, to stop by sometime this year and visit us.

The past year’s initiation exceeded our expectations and our recent election has resulted in many new positions being filled. We have split up the house manager position, created a community service position to help reach out and better Central Ohio, and class representative positions to help keep track of and better serve each class.

We are currently looking forward to an exciting 2007-2008 school year. Besides welcoming in the Class of 2011, we have many great events on tap. Fall is just around the corner, and you know what that means…Ohio State Football! GO BUCKS! We will be inviting all Psi Chapter Alumni to join us for our tailgate, the date and time are TBA. We will be having a welcoming party/annual fight-night for the incoming class during fall quarter. Our rush team will be out in full force, finding great people to join our fraternity. We will soon have a website devoted to Psi Omega, Psi Chapter. The website will include information about our officers, the house and its occupants, past events (including pictures), and future events. Our hope is to help keep our alumni in touch with what is going on in our great fraternity and to keep alumni updated on future events for them to attend and be part of. We will soon begin construction of this site and will keep you updated.
