Psi Gamma
University of Tennessee

The Psi Gamma chapter at the University of Tennessee had a refreshing year in 2007. Rush week was a lot of fun with a Redbirds baseball game, pool party and house party, and the grand finale of a trip to Tunica, Mississippi for a night of magic at Grand Casino. We had 34 new recruits this year, including three fourth-year students, 19 second-year students, 10 first-year students, and two new faculty members, Dr. Robert Hatch and Dr. Scott Hollis! The 80’s-themed initiation party was a hit, and we finished the year strong with a Halloween costume party and a tacky Christmas sweater party. We also had officer elections and are proud to announce the new officers: President - Anish Gala, Vice President - Chad Davis, Treasurer - Drew Johnson, Rush/Social Chair - Cecile Shoemaker, Secretary - Christine Shook.

The next year is promising to be just as active, with plans for our annual crawfish boil, GV Black tie formal, Spring River camping trip, Mardi Gras social on Beale street, volunteer work at St. Jude’s Target House, and a possible ski trip. We’re looking forward to the coming year and more good times with the Psi Gamma chapter!

We would also like to congratulate our graduating seniors and wish them the best of luck with wherever they head!
